In pakistan there is 798 registered AIDS Patients.including 300 antiviral cases are registered in eight HIV, AIDS Control Centres operating in the country.The NACP currently had 2.85 billion for the prevention and control of HIV/ AIDS and the World Bank was among the major donors.
However, there were certain anti-retroviral medicines, which could delay the development of AIDS in the HIV positive person and reduce the possibilities of its transfer from expectant mothers to the newborns. the presence of HIV in a person could be diagnosed through a blood test and advised the couples to have HIV/AIDS test before marriages to protect their children from the virus. majority of HIV/AIDS affected men did not tell their wives before marriages about their disease. internationally, 75 per cent of people living with HIV AIDS had contracted the disease through sexual intercourse both lawful and unlawful. So far, AIDS had claimed more than 2.2 million lives and around 4.2 million people including youngsters and children are currently living with the disease..BE CAREFULL !!
