Car amplifier installation guide.
07.10.09 (2:32 pm)   [edit]
Folks here i am to guide you about amplifier installation. The amp should be at least three feet from the receiver to avoid noise radiated from the vehicle's electrical system. The amp can also interfere with the receiver's AM/FM reception. An amp produces some heat during operation, which its heatsink absorbs and radiates, so it needs a few inches of air space to stay as cool as possible. When mounting an amp on a side wall, make sure the fins on the heatsink are vertical. Never mount an amp upside down, as dissipated heat will radiate back into the amp. There must be enough room on either side to make the wiring connections and adjust the controls (gain, crossover, bass boost, etc.). Good locations include: On the firewall (passenger side). Pros: Short wires and patch cords required. You won't have to remove a seat or climb into the trunk. Cons: Only very small amps fit here. Closer to some common noise sources. In the trunk or hatch area. Pros: Plenty of room for large amps. Near the rear speakers. Cons: You sacrifice some cargo space. Longer wires and patch cords required. If working in the trunk, tape over the latch, so you won't get trapped inside accidentally. Under a seat. Pros: Closer to the receiver, so you can use shorter patch cables and signal cables, which are less prone to noise and signal degradation.Closer to the front speakers, so running wire to them will be easier. No cargo space sacrificed. Cons: You may have to remove the seat to do the installation. Warning: removing your seat could deactivate your vehicle's SRS system. Larger amps might not fit. You must elevate the amp to avoid contact with water from rain or snow brought in on passengers' shoes. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for mounting the amp and make sure it's secure. An amp that isn't secure could break loose in an accident and injure a passenger as it flies through the vehicle.

ACNE VULGARIS
12.28.08 (12:58 am)   [edit]
Acne a common problem in youth, specailly the teens. So lets find out the causes, symptoms, preventation & treatment of this disese. Acne vulgaris develop in sebaceous follicles, which consist of a large, multilobular sebaceous gland that drains its products into the follicular canal. The initial lesion of acne is a microcomedone, which progresses to a comedone. A comedone is a dilated epithelium-lined follicular sac filled with lamellated keratinous material, lipid, and bacteria. An open comedone, known as a blackhead, has a patulous pilosebaceous orifice that permits visualization of the plug. An open comedone becomes inflammatory less commonly than does a closed comedone or whitehead, which has only a pinpoint opening. An inflammatory papule or nodule develops from a comedone that has ruptured and extruded its follicular contents into the subadjacent dermis, inducing a neutrophilic inflammatory response. If the inflammatory reaction is close to the surface, a papule or pustule develops. If the inflammatory infiltrate develops deeper in the dermis, a nodule forms. Suppuration and an occasional giant cell reaction to the keratin and hair are the cause of nodulocystic lesions. These are not true cysts but liquefied masses of inflammatory debris. The primary pathogenetic alterations in acne are (1) abnormal keratinization of the follicular epithelium, resulting in impaction of keratinized cells within the follicular lumen; (2) increased sebaceous gland production of sebum; (3) proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes within the follicle; and (4) inflammation. Comedonal acne ( Fig. 668-1 ), particularly of the central face, is frequently the 1st sign of pubertal maturation. At puberty, the sebaceous gland enlarges and sebum production increases in response to the increased activities of androgens of primarily adrenal origin. Most patients with acne do not have significant endocrine abnormalities. Hyper-responsiveness of the sebocyte to androgens is likely involved in determining the severity of acne in a given individual. Sebocytes and follicular keratinocytes contain 5α-reductase, 3β- and 17β-hydroxyl-steroid dehydrogenase which are capable of metabolizing androgens. A significant number of women with acne (25–50%), particularly those with relatively mild papulopustular acne, note that their acne flares ≈1 wk before menstruation. The pathogenesis of this phenomenon is unknown. TREATMENT. No evidence shows that early treatment, with the exception of isotretinoin, alters the course of acne. Acne can be controlled and severe scarring prevented, however, by judicious maintenance therapy that is continued until the disease process has abated spontaneously. Therapy must be individualized and aimed at preventing microcomedone formation through reduction of follicular hyperkeratosis, sebum production, the P. acnes population in follicular orifices, and free fatty acid production. Initial control takes at least 6–8 wk, based on the severity of the acne ( Table 668-2 ). It is also important to address the potentially severe emotional impact of acne on adolescents Classification of Acne SEVERITY DESCRIPTION Mild Comedones (noninflammatory lesions) are the main lesions.Papules and pustules may be present but are small and few in number (generally <10). Moderate Moderate numbers of papules and pustules (10–40) and comedones (10–40) are present.Mild disease of the trunk may also be present. Moderately severe Numerous papules and pustules are present (40–100), usually with many comedones (40–100) and occasional larger, deeper nodular inflamed lesions (up to 5).Widespread affected areas usually involve the face, chest, and back Severe Nodulocystic acne and acne conglobata with many large, painful nodular or pustular lesions are present, along with many smaller papules, pustules, and comedones Source: Nelson Textbook of PEDIATRICS>

Naigra falls is one of the beautiful place on earth.
10.19.08 (11:58 pm)   [edit]
Photobucket Niagara Falls are massive waterfalls on the Niagara River. It is basically the international border separating the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York. The falls of water are 17 miles (27 km) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York, 75 miles (120 km) south-southeast of Toronto, Ontario, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York Niagara Falls is composed of two major sections separated by Goat Island: Horseshoe Falls, on the Canadian side of the border and American Falls on the United States side. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls also is located on the American side, separated from the main falls by Luna Island. Niagara Falls were formed when glaciers receded at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly-formed Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment en route to the Atlantic Ocean. While not exceptionally high, the Niagara Falls are very wide. More than six million cubic feet (168,000 m3) of water falls over the crest line every minute in high flow, and almost 4 million cubic feet (110,000 m³) on average. It is the most powerful waterfall in North America. The Niagara Falls are renowned both for their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power. Managing the balance between recreational, commercial, and industrial uses has been a challenge for the stewards of the falls since the 1800s.

Prince Waleed buys A380, the world largest passenger airliner.
11.13.07 (2:45 pm)   [edit]

European planemaker Airbus named Saudi billionaire Prince Al Waleed bin Talal as the first private buyer of an A380 superjumbo, the world largest passenger airliner.

The prospective buyer identity had been kept secret for months but was unveiled to coincide with the Dubai air show.

Prince Alwaleed, whose interests span Kingdom Holding to Euro Disney, hotels and banking, has ordered a VIP version of the A380 dubbed the Flying Palace. He already owns a Boeing 747-400, the newest type of the original jumbo jet currently in service. The bigger Airbus superjumbo has been hit by production delays but entered service with Singapore Airlines last month.

Leg room will not be a problem on the Flying Palace, which features 551 sq metres of usable floor space on twin passenger decks — enough for a couple of tennis courts. The ordinary passenger edition sells for over $300 million but the price of the special-edition aircraft was not disclosed. The A380 can be fitted with cocktail bars, casinos, showers and sleeping quarters for first class passengers on ordinary airlines. For the super rich, the sky is the limit. Boeing has three VIP clients who have bought five of its latest giant, the 747-8 Intercontinental which is due to enter service with airlines in 2010. reuters
